Door handle inside and outside
When the door is locked, the outside door handle is idle. This means that the latch of the lock cannot be actuated by pressing down the door handle on the outside! The door cannot be opened from the outside without a key. An "escape" to the outside activates the outer door handle and access from the outside, e.g. by the fire brigade is possible, even if it was previously closed.
