Cup hinges - essential for a functioning wardrobe door

Cup hinges are the most commonly used pivot fitting for doors and are unrecognisable from the outside. The little helpers are located inside the cabinet door and are screwed into place with the mounting plate. They are versatile and can be used for wooden doors in the kitchen, living and dining areas with different opening angles. Hinges are also available for glass and mirror doors, which are attached with a special adhesive and not screwed in place.

Practical functions for the wardrobe

The quick-fit technology makes it easy to fit and remove the fittings in the door without tools. The modern three-dimensional side, depth and height adjustment is ideal for customised adjustment of the hinges. Pot hinges are available in three different types of stop, which differ in the way they are fitted. The corner hinge is fully surface-mounted, the centre hinge is semi-recessed and the inside hinge is recessed. You can tell which type of hinge is best suited to your wardrobe by looking at the structure of your wardrobe door. Hinges are also available with either a push-to-open function or a soft-close mechanism. Push-to-open opens the handleless front with a brief touch. To use this, a push-open door catch with magnet or rubber tip is required, which you can find in the ‘Accessories’ category. The soft-close damper allows the door to close gently and silently, preventing furniture doors from slamming loudly.
